Jackal Jujube – Wild Black Berry
The Jackal jujube (Ziziphus oenopolia) is a wild, thorny jujube plant found in the tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and Australasia, notable for its small, edible, black, and sour fruits and traditional medicinal uses, particularly for digestive issues.
It is also known as the small-fruited jujube or wild jujube, and its fruits are consumed by rural and tribal communities for both nutrition and as a source of traditional medicine.
