How to grow in rocky soil:
- Loosen the soil for deeper root penetration and improve water retention capacity.
- Remove large rocks large πͺ¨ to create wide and deep pockets.
- Add organic matter mixed with native soils into the deep pockets.
- Collect dry leaves π and use them as a soilcover to reduce soil moisture.
Choose plants suited to poor soil like herbs, leafy greens, or native species, and amend the soil by digging and improving the planting area with organic matter such as compost or well-rotted manure.
